St. John’s School is NUT SENSITIVE. There are no exceptions! Please do not send any products containing nuts or peanut traces. This includes products made with peanut oil. Many of our students have severe allergies to nuts and contact with them can be harmful, if not fatal.

During school hours all visitors must enter the building using the library door at the upper parking lot. All visitors must check in at the office and receive a visitor’s pass. If you plan on doing any chaperoning, or helping out in classrooms you must come into the office and fill out a CORI form. CORI forms are to be renewed every school year, and you must have a valid photo ID to complete the process. There will be no exceptions as CORI forms are State Mandated, for the safety of all our children.

A full time nurse is available at the school. She is responsible for all health records. She treats illness and health emergencies in school and administers all medication when necessary. All medications including cough drops must be kept in the nurse’s office.

Extended Day

All of our Extended Day Programs are offered every day school is in session except the day before Thanksgiving and the day we begin Christmas Break. On those two days only the Morning Care Program is available. For more information about extended day click here.

Birthday Celebration Policy

Since the children cannot celebrate their birthdays by bringing goodies into the classrooms, we have decided to start a "Birthday Book" program. the way that this will work is when it is your child's birthday, you can donate a new book to the library. We will put a special "birthday" label in the book with your child's name on it. the book will be displayed on our special birthday shelf for the month and then it will be filed accordingly onto the shelves.

If you choose to donate a book, please remember that all ages will have access to the book and be able to view it. If you would like some suggestions or guidance in purchasing a book, feel free to contact Mrs. Susan Linehan.

Instant Alert

St John uses MSP Instant Alert System. All St John families are automatically enrolled in this system by home telephone. However, if you would like alerts to go to cell phones or numbers other than the main residence, please click here for more information.
